"Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram", is a socio-cultural, organization promoting cultural programmes in Delhi/NCR as also imparting training in classical Indian traditional dance forms, viz, Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi to young students of various age groups irrespective of their backgrounds.
"Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram", was established in the year 1993 by Guru Kalamandalam Anitha Babu alongwith her husband Babu Krishnan. In addition to dance, classes for Carnatic vocal music is also arranged. Presently, the dance classes are arranged mainly at R.K. Puram(Sector-6) and also at areas like Mehrauli and Dwaraka (Mahavir Enclave). Advance level courses leading to the award of Diploma are organized for students of the Institution through Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh on regular basis. Fellowship/stipendiary awards to deserving students of the institution are also granted to promote their skill in dance. During our Annual functions we also honour Gurus and eminent personalities of Delhi/NCR who promote the activities of Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram. So far, more than 400 students of Bharathanatyam and 400 students of Mohiniyattam and 200 students of Kuchipudi have successfully completed their training and Arangetram and received their Certificates.

Every year "Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram", under Guru Kalamandalam Anitha Babu provides Scholarships to poor students who are learning classical dances and also other economically weaker students for their school education. It is keen to expand its philanthropic activities but is awaiting for financial support from like-minded organisations and individuals.
"Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram" is aiming to uphold the sanctity of the classical dance is presently looking forward for a place in Delhi/NCR for opening its own dance School.
Anitha is the co-founder of 'Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram' alongwith her husband, Shri Babu Krishnan, in 1993 in Delhi. Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram was established to impart training in Indian classical dance forms like, Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi to the students of various age groups belonging to all walks of life. It is a socio-cultural, non profit organization, dedicated to the promotion and protection of Indian classical arts in and around the Capital City of Delhi. Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram, at present is functioning from the Shiv Shakti Mandir, Sector 8, RK Puram, New Delhi and has its branches in Dwarka and Mehrauli. Hundreds of students have successfully rendered their arangetram in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kuchipudi under her guidance. Smt. Anitha has trained more than one thousand students in classical dance since 1993 and many of them went on to pursue advanced learning.
Nrithyanjali Kalakshetram's School Of Classical Dance follows an institution based course curriculum which is designed keeping in mind a gradual progression from one lesson to the next ensuring perfection of each and every dance lesson be it the adavus (steps), mudras (hand gestures) or dance songs.

Kalamandalam Anitha Babu was born on 20 February, 1970 in Thrissur, The Cultural Capital of Kerala.
Since the tender age of 5, Anitha has been passionate about communicating through dance. Her unique dance style is a sincere result of her undying passion, self-motivation and dedication towards Bharatanatyam. Her refreshing approach to Bharatanatyam has won her many accolades and praise from dance lovers around the country. Being a firm believer in maintaining the integrity of tradition, Anitha explores her creativity without compromising on the classicism of the dance form.
Her first Guru was Kalamandalam Usha Chandran, her own elder sister, from whom she received training in Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi in a disciplined manner from the age of five. Later, Smt. Yogeshwari teacher of Adayar taught her varied styles of Bharatnatyam. She went on to learn Kuchipudi under the able guidance of Smt. Kalamandalam Rajalakshmi.
